This is me, Jo Blackwell, on the other side of the lens. Who am I? My short answer to a big question is: I am a storyteller, and I would love to meet you and tell your story! I specialise in beautiful, contemporary portraiture and fun, candid imagery that will be cherished for generations, allowing you to see yourself as others see you - in your best light.

And the young woman next to me? That’s Katy, my daughter, who is part of my wedding photography business. As a mother and daughter team, we tell the story of your special day in an unobtrusive, documentary style with a feminine twist. With her academic background in Fine and Decorative Arts and experience in the Heritage industry, Katy brings a discerning eye and sensitive interpretation to wedding photography. Newly engaged, she knows exactly how exciting it is to plan a wedding. At the other end of the scale, as a veteran of 30 years of marriage, I know how rewarding a life shared can be.
